Health Insurance

Insurance comes to play in the case Illness or death .Imagine your family and dependents without you and your income .Think of a case where-in your children without your income. They will suffer due to non-work related injuries which are devastating. Health Insurance can help protect against disastrous health care expenses and lost wages. If you have a job, your employer may make medical and disability income benefits available to you. You can also buy this coverage privately or through an insurance agent who is certified by the State to sell health insurance goods.

Types of Health Plans:

Medical Expenses Plans: Pay expenses incurred for diagnosis and treatment of medical conditions. Full preference plans allow you to choose any doctor and hospital. You can also desire the amount of the "deductible" you must pay before the plan pays anything. After the deductible is met, a percentage of all your set cost is usually covered. The inequality between the percentages the plan pays and the amount charged is the "co-amount" that you must pay. The policy or employer benefit booklet resolve spell out the terms and conditions of what is enclosed and what in not covered. Read this contract BEFORE you need to use the plan and ask your agent or employer to give details anything which is unsure to you. Favorite Provider Organization (PPO) Plans allow you to choose a doctor or hospital from a list of "preferred" providers in order to receive filled benefits. If you go to a doctor who is not on the list, the plan may cover a smaller percentage or none of your costs. Check with the insurance carrier BEFORE you use the plan to make certain your physician or hospital is an astringent provider. Make certain your doctor refers you to other providers who are on the list, or who the carrier agrees to pay at the "preferred" rate. Individual Plans are a good alternative if you are not able to get coverage through your employer. A pre-existing condition, such as a past illness, must be covered after one year. However, the insurance company
will decide on the basis of your health history if they will issue the coverage. Multiple Employer welfare Arrangements(MEWA) may be insured or partially-insured plans. They are classically marketed to self-employed individuals or small employers through membership in a trade or other association. The California Insurance Code now requires MEWA's to obtain a "Certificate of Compliance" and to set aside financial reserves to work. They must fulfill with the health care reforms efficient after July 1993. These plans can only be sold through a licensed life indemnity agent.

A triple rainbow

A triple rainbow is even more rarely seen. A few observers have reported seeing quadruple rainbows in which a dim outermost arc had a rippling and pulsating appearance.

Occasionally, another beautiful and striking rainbow phenomenon could be observed, consisting of several faint rainbows on the inner side of the primary rainbow, and very rarely also outside the secondary rainbow. They are slightly detached and have pastel colour bands that do not fit the usual pattern. They are known as supernumerary rainbows, and their very existence was historically a first indication of the wave nature of light.

Other rainbow variants are ones produced when the sunlight reflects off a body of water before reaching the raindrops. This produces a reflection rainbow which shares the same endpoints as the normal one but encompasses a far greater arc when all of it is visible. Reflection rainbows can exist for both the primary and secondary. A reflected rainbow is produced when light that has been reflected inside the raindrops reflects off a body of water before reaching the observer. It is not a mirror image of the primary, being displaced from it to a degree dependent on the sun's altitude. In the image below both types can be seen. The reflection rainbow is faintly visible curving between the primary and secondary, and the reflected rainbow can be seen in the water.

Primary and secondary rainbows are visible, as well as a reflected primary and a faintly visible reflection primary
Half circle rainbowThe Persian astronomer Qutb al-Din al-Shirazi is thought to have first given a fairly accurate explanation for the rainbow phenomenon. Theodoric of Freiberg is also known to have given an accurate theoretical explanation of the rainbow in 1307; he postulated that when sunlight falls on individual drops of moisture, the rays undergo two refractions (upon ingress and egress) and one reflection (at the back side of the drop) before transmission into the eye of the observer" (quoted from David C, Lindberg, “Roger Bacon’s Theory of the Rainbow: Progress or Regress?”, Isis, Vol. 57, no. 2, p. 236.).

Descartes, in 1637, further advanced this explanation. Knowing that the size of raindrops didn't appear to affect the observed rainbow, he experimented with passing rays of light through a large glass sphere filled with water. By measuring the angles that the rays emerged, he concluded that the primary bow was caused by a single internal reflection inside the raindrop and that a secondary bow could be caused by two internal reflections. He was able to back this up with a derivation of the law of refraction (subsequently, but independently of Snell) and correctly calculated the angles for both bows. However, he was unable to explain the colours.

Isaac Newton was the first to demonstrate that white light was composed of the light of all the colours of the rainbow, which a glass prism could split into the full spectrum of colours. He also showed that red light gets refracted less than blue light which led to an essentially complete explanation of a rainbow's optical effect.

Jackal

A jackal is any of four small to medium-sized members of the family Canidae, found in Africa and Asia. (The name jackal is borrowed from Persian ÔÛÇá shoghal.) Jackals fill a similar ecological niche to the Coyote in North America, that of scavengers and lesser predators. Their long legs and curved canine teeth are adapted for hunting small mammals, birds and reptiles. Blunt feet and fused leg bones give them a long-distance runner's physique, capable of maintaining speeds of 16km/h (10mph) for extended periods of time. They are nocturnal, most active at dawn and dusk.

In jackal society the social unit is that of a monogamous pair which defends its territory from other pairs. These territories are defended by vigorously chasing intruding rivals and marking landmarks around the territory with urine and feces. The territory may be large enough to hold some young adults who stay with their parents until they establish their own territory. Jackals may occasionally assemble in small packs, for example to scavenge a carcass, but normally hunt alone or as a pair.

Jackals are considered close to what all ancestral canids looked and behaved like. Despite their outward similarity, the four species are not considered closely related to one another. The Simian Jackal is actually a wolf that took on the appearance of a large fox or jackal through convergent evolution (by adopting a similar diet of small rodent)s, and the other three 'true jackals' are believed to have split from each other 6 mya. The Golden Jackal is thought to have evolved in Asia whilst the other two species evolved in Africa.

hi

Pontoon bridges are floating bridges supported by floating pontoons with sufficient buoyancy to support the bridge and dynamic loads. While pontoon bridges are usually temporary structures, some are used for long periods of time. Permanent floating bridges are useful for sheltered water-crossings where it is not considered economically feasible to suspend a bridge from anchored piers. Such bridges can require a section that is elevated, or can be raised or removed, to allow ships to pass.

Submerged floating-tube bridges have been considered for use across ocean straits and even across entire oceans. The construction of such a tunnel was featured in the alternative history novel A Transatlantic Tunnel, Hurrah! by Harry Harrison. It is estimated that a submerged floating tunnel would be two to three times more costly to build than a floating bridge, and the technology remains unproven. No submerged floating tunnel exists in the world at present.

God,spare me

I found out that even dreams could lose to the power of love, the unprecedented force of love, takes too much from you when it has reached its peak. It's only 3 months, and i could feel the toll on me, clinging onto me like a mood-sucking leech. It's like being isolated in a treacherous icy chamber one could never concieve,a chamber even the mighty Hedes will concede to.Standing there in the middle of the room, just standing there and at the same moment, you know exactly what you wana do,you just wana take that popsicle you see lying at the corner of the room and smash your way out.To find that heater which you've been waiting to see.But heres the twist you're frozen.(Kai.2004 "my journal" 29 april 2004) Its just too long....just too long.I feel so lost,i dont really know what i know, i dont know what i want,i dont even know what to do when i feel shitty,im so helpless for the first time.God! (if you really exist) Why are you punishing me for?! To create love as pain as it is now Why? i miss her so much. I just wana...sleep....so wana sleep.

I come from a little town north of India, It's quite a weird little town really and right till this day i still can't find a reason to it because its just plain...o weird.(I know this is corny, but do stick with me)i just did it for education.*sips water. My life...hmmmm it's full of simplicity ,so to speak, most of the days it just goes through the repeating phase but sometimes it could go so high up and sometimes so low down,if you know what i mean.Honestly, life for me consists of 5 things only, *her* , family, muggin, eating and sleeping. *sips water. okay, enough of me. Why i started a blog? because she told me it's cool,so it influenced me to think it's cool. No more.End.

Footylicious

Melbourne demons trashed the West coast eagles 122-73. But who cares? Alright, fine, the atmosphere was great, something you can never find in Singapore but the game... was a mess... my usual perception of footy: a modern gladiator competition... It's basically people running into people,no gracefulness,no elegance and certainly no such thing as beautiful footy as compared to soccer, there's magic passes...through balls...bicycle kicks, shuffles and freestyle soccer. and what's up with the WALNUT ball. Everywhere i go, i see people carrying an overgrown walnut with their team on it. But i admire their passion. Was on the train, ready for my usual train nap till this bunch of girls boarded the train singing the Demon's anthem, singing happily away, the other commuters had looks of "I'm not hearing anything" and as i said, i admired their passion. Happy momma's day to moms and especially to my mum. Miss you. and the teriyaki chicken.

Facing life in obscurity
So,i was in the car, sitting there quietly like a child with the Ipod, dreaming, while aunt and unc talk about "stuff" in mute. From 28th April- 16th May, shooting stars could be seen if u concentrate on the sky, hard enough...you'll see it. Guess i wasn't concentrating hard enough.I shifted my attention onto the windscreen, the blurred windscreen from my cold exhaled air.Drew a cartoon character. Then,Tim Mcgraw and Faith Hill's Its your love came on, and honestly i felt angry. A smashed Ipod could be seen lying on the floor if i turned back time.I didn't. Wish i could just sleep till december.

I'll do anything
I'll do anything to take away the pain from you, i would risk anything to take away the pain from you, now i'm not afraid of getting burnt or cut. I don't mind transferring your pain from you to me,i truly would only want to see you happy. But i'm so aggravated and frustrated now, just because i dont know how.
